Ingredients:
-
8 ounces uncooked fettuccine
-
1 pound uncooked medium shrimp, peeled and deveined
-
3 garlic cloves, minced
-
½ cup butter, cubed
-
1 package (8 ounces) cream cheese, cubed
-
1 cup full-fat milk
-
½ cup shredded Parmesan cheese
-
4 cups frozen broccoli florets
-
½ teaspoon salt
-
Dash of pepper
Instructions:
Step 1: Cook the Pasta
Cook the fettuccine according to the package directions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
Step 2: Sauté the Shrimp
In a large skillet, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and shrimp. Sauté until the shrimp turn pink, about 3-4 minutes. Remove the shrimp from the skillet and set aside.
Step 3: Prepare the Alfredo Sauce
In the same skillet, add the cream cheese, milk, and Parmesan cheese. Stir continuously over low heat until the cheeses melt and the sauce becomes smooth and creamy.
Step 4: Cook the Broccoli
In a separate saucepan, bring 1 inch of water to a boil. Add the frozen broccoli, cover, and simmer for 1-2 minutes until tender. Drain the water.
Step 5: Combine Everything
Stir the cooked broccoli, sautéed shrimp, salt, and pepper into the cheese sauce. Mix well and let it heat through for a couple of minutes.
Step 6: Serve
Place the drained fettuccine on a serving plate and top with the creamy shrimp and broccoli mixture. Garnish with extra Parmesan cheese if desired. Serve warm and enjoy!
